NRT Technique
The term "No Root Touch Technique" (NRT)hair transplant isn't a widely recognized or standardized term in medical or aesthetic literature. However, it seems like it could be referring to a refined or careful technique used during hair transplant surgery to avoid damaging the hair follicle roots during extraction and implantation. Here's what that might mean
"NRT Technique" This could refer to a surgical technique in either FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) Follicular units (grafts) are handled minimally and only by the protective tissue surrounding the follicle, not the root itself. Surgeons or technicians avoid touching the lower part of the graft (where the hair bulb/root is) to prevent trauma and increase graft survival rate. Special forceps or implanters (like the CHOI implanter pen) are used to implant follicles without handling the root directly.
